On December 7, 2025, the Vietnamese Business Association in Poland (VBAP) officially held its 5th Congress for the 2026–2028 term. During the Congress, the Executive Committee of the 4th term (2022–2025) reported on the Association’s activities, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Election of New Executive Committee
The Congress elected a new Executive Committee for the 2026–2028 term, comprising 12 members, along with 3 members in the Supervisory Board. On behalf of the Association, Mr. Trần Trọng Hùng – Chairman presented the key directions and tasks for the upcoming term, focusing on:
Youth engagement and renewal of Association membership.
Promoting female entrepreneurs to achieve gender balance.
Expanding participation of businesses in emerging sectors, such as beauty and wellness.
Enhancing operational efficiency, transparency, and accountability of the Association.
Establishing a Business Fund to support young Vietnamese entrepreneurs and startups.
Key Remarks by the Vietnamese Ambassador and Trade Counselor
Ambassador Hà Hoàng Hải commended the Association’s efforts in supporting both Vietnamese businesses and the broader Vietnamese community in Poland. He highlighted that economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Poland are growing, with Polish businesses showing strong interest in the Vietnamese market. He suggested three main areas of focus for the new term:
Trade and export-import cooperation between Vietnam and Poland.
Tourism development cooperation.
Promotion of Vietnamese cuisine and culture in Poland, enhancing cultural understanding while fostering economic cooperation.
The Ambassador expressed support for the Association’s directions and hopes it will continue to strengthen, serving as a platform to advance bilateral economic relations.
Trade Counselor Nguyễn Sơn also supported the Association’s goals, emphasizing that VBAP brings together many outstanding Vietnamese entrepreneurs in Poland and is expected to assert its role as a bridge for Vietnam-Poland economic and trade development. He noted the growing number of young Vietnamese in Poland with innovative business ideas in areas like AI, IT, and technology, but who often lack investment. Therefore, VBAP could serve as a platform and investor network for young Vietnamese startups in Poland, fostering creativity and personal development.
